A science student pursuing arts.Art has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. It all started as simple doodles I do when I was still a toddle to trying to bring things from fantasies, games, Tv and movies into real life.
With so many great artists and designers out there, I am always very inspired by their different art styles and works. I enjoy trying to experiment and incorporate the things I have observed into my own work, thereby always presenting something new to the table. Science, especially chemistry, was a subject I loved and took great interest in. However, I realized that, as fun or as enjoyable the science course I took in Polytechnic was, it was not something I would bring myself to further pursue. That was because even in class, I was taking notes with doodles and drawings! Using majority of my free time, I have experimented and created many different art pieces while trying with different medias. I supposed you can call me a mixed media artist. A variety of things I have tried includes, digital painting, water coloring, wall painting, mosaic art, wood working, clay sculpting, jewelry crafting, stamp carving, prop making/designing and many more. The list is a little long for me to include everything. I also did some free-lancing for small project groups. I am always looking to learn new things, and I consider every experience, even those that are not really art related as valuable lessons that will affect the way I design and present my art pieces. Learning something new relating to art is a plus plus for me and I will be very excited to bring it into my next piece of work. |
